Someone help me.  How is it that some players in speed chess can move 6, 7, or 8 times before losing more than 1 second of time?  What are they doing?

also if you hold the peice over the square that you want to move it to, and then let go when it is your move, you can move while only losing .1 seconds (If you guess when your opponent will move.

You can go to your Live Chess settings page at http://www.chess.com/home/livechess_settings.html to enable the premove option.
