Since time management is so crucial in Live Chess games, would it be possible to have the server apply a timestamp to all the moves, in the movelist?  That way, when looking back over the game later, you can see if/when you were in time trouble, where you took too much/little time for a move, etc...

Not a bad idea, also people would quit saying the players are cheating the clock.  They could look and see what the "official" server clock read at the time of the move.

Yes, thank you for the suggestion. This will be considered as the Live Chess is further developed.

I would like to see this applied to the online chess as well.  I play via computer and mobile phone, and on a few occasions I found myself to have made a huge blunder and did not remember making the move.  It'd be nice to see "Oh, Friday at 2am? I shouldn't drink and move."

This feature should probably be made as an option, since I suspect a lot of players wouldn't take advantage of it. I suppose if it was a feature for premium members it might result in a few more paid memberships.

Do we know if this feature will roll out soon?  My account with that "other" famous live chess server is due for renewal and timestamping moves is really one of the two things that's keeping me with them. (The other one being a bigger and stronger pool of slow game players (who actually *want* to play slow games)  to play with e.g. 45-45 leagues etc.)

Bump.

Are chess.com developers listening? This is an underrated but valuable feature addition for players who are practicing good time management as well as coaches who can monitor their students to see if they are taking their time in critical positions.

This is one of the "few" things the "other" servers have that chess.com doesn't ... :)
