Timing Of The Games

Yell  I am writing this point of interest to discuss the timing process in which while playing live chess the timing system appears to be faulty.  Quite often when I am playing other opponents I notice that the timing system either gives my opponent back seconds or delays in removing seconds.  I even witnessed them getting back up to a total of 2:00 minutes.  This is a error that should be corrected.  I have complained about this issue numerous times.  I love the web site and I enjoy the overall conceptualization.  However, I feel that it looks like intentional intervention occurs from time to time.  Chess is suppose to allow each player the opportunity to utilize their own ability to win a game, without outside or inside interference!!!  Please correct and adjust this errors.  It would be a major victory for those that lose games because of this mishap.

I believe this is due to lag. They may have actually made the move 2 minutes before, but due to lag it didn't register on your end(I think) and therefore it counts down but when he sends the move, it also sends the time he had when he actually made the move to you, which corrects the time on your end.

Hope this was somewhat helpful. My explaining skills are bad today.
