Weird continual interface bug

For a while now there has been a continual glitch in the live chess interface when I play. When ever I move a piece it moves from the start square to the destination square, back to the original square and then finally moves to the destination square as usual. Ridiculous. There are also two sounds for the move rather than one. Here is a link to a video of an example. [Any errors are due to me being distracted by the problem and making the video, of course]

What is going on? I've cleared the obvious caches, what else would be worth doing? [I'm using Firefox 6. ... I've suddenly got a theory as to the reason - is it correct?]

I'm guessing it's a version 6 problem. Hopefully can get confirmation from chess.com soon.

Which operating system are you using?

Vista. But I did not notice this problem at all until recently (since when it has been continual), and I suspect I upgraded Firefox around that time.
