I don't.  But it's nice that getting disconnected is just about the most irritating thing in my life right now.

I heard from everyone that people who use Internet Explorer (like me) have always problems and people with Firefox don´t, so...

I'm using Firefox, and I'm told I have a pretty good internet connection (I wouldn't know).  I'm not complaining; I'm saying that if someone (erik gets excluded from this) thinks that getting disconnected is the worst thing in their life, then they have a pretty good life.

I'm using Firefox, and I have never had a single problem with it. Plus, Firefox is just wayyyy better than IE anyways. :P

Since Eric recommended FireFox I have been singing. I only get disconnected when a very very heavy thunderstorm rolls by (Satellite Internet here)

I agree with 'oldmangeorge'.  Irritations in life are like mosquito bites, scratch them a little and keep moving.

Thanks Eric for the FireFox recommendation.

I've always used Firefox and still had my fair share of disconnections.

Erik, I had a disconnect loss yesterday when my broadband connection went down for about 15 seconds. I had lots of time on my clock. It would be nice if chess.com gave us up to 5 minutes to reconnect (if we have that much time on our clock).

I had a disconnect win today, so I guess it's balancing out for me so far.

I strongly suspect that the time I had left on the clock for games I was disconnected from while winning gets added on to the end of my life and the time for disconnects in losing positions gets subtracted.  I think I'm pretty well evenly balanced as well.  A similar thing happens when you walk out of a bad movie, but you get that time back right away....

It might be your hardware that isn't working, not the software. I'll help if you answer these questions.

*What internet connection do you use (e.g. dialup, broadband, cable, ect)

*Is it a laptop or desktop computer?

*Do you use a wireless connection, if so how is the signal?

*Did you install the hardware yourself, or did someone else do it?

*Do you know where the hardware is?
