Yes, the Live Chess is looking better and better each day. Cheers for premove option, now I have some chances for a decent Quick and Blitz rating.  Laughing

Yes it is getting better. Still, I have problems with the web based interface. I would like the windows to be more freely resizable, especially the board window.

Although it looks promising I think much improvement is needed until it becomes a replacer for my current favorite, FICS.

I don't know whether these have been suggested before but this is what I would change:

  • An OPTION to have the computer show you all the possible moves a piece can make when you click on it.
  • An OPTION for takebacks by mutual agreement, I enjoy this feature on msn when I play against weaker opponents than myself and it prevents mindless blunders ruining the game.
  • The ability to play an untimed game without having to enter a huge time-limit.

That's all for now.

Well if you're using firefox then you may have a problem worth solving. Do you have the latest java stuff on your computer? Also deleting cookies and temporary internet files could help also, because sometimes they can really slow your apps down even if you have a strong computer.

You don't need Java for chess.com (with the exception of http://www.chess.com/play/computer.html).
