Instead of 1.Rf7, why didn't your opponent play 1.Nxe7?

Sorry Grensley.. but why didn't the black take the white queen with the knight after white first move: Qxe7+ !!!

notice that the server counted 4 Rh1# as mate. i think the knight on g8 is not supposed to be there. then it all makes sense.
