1...Kxf7 gets the piece back. why didn't you check that?

If 1...Kxf7, then 2.Qb3+ wins a queen and two pawns for a rook and a bishop.  Why didn't you check that, ben?

 There's nothing wrong with your puzzle.

1...Kh8 is Black's best defense, in which case, White simply wins a pawn.

Yeah, shouldn't that be "who cares--it's NOT a puzzle?"  See, cuz if you say it's a puzzle, then we're going to try to solve it and find things wrong with it (if there are any)--in short, we'll care.
