what if white does 2.Bxf6 taking the pawn?  then black can either trade bishops or save his bishop, either way i think black's attack is stalled just long enough to let white get out of it with an extra pawn.

@ohnny263: 2. Bxf6 Kxf6 3. gf3 Rg5! and it's the same as in the main variation. In a game, white avoided a trap and played 2. Rac1.
