I wouldn't recommend even attempting this one unless you've got HOURS that you can devote to it.  You may want to contact Bobby Fischer through your Ouija board for advice.  Enjoy!

No, I've clearly just underestimated your SKEELZ sir.  It took my IBM Roadrunner supercomputer running Fritz at 1.02 petaflops a full day to crack this one.

Crafty, Fritz, and Rybka deliberated with one another for four hours, with no results. At that point my computer emitted the "Mysterious Blue Smoke of Technological/Electronic Disruptment" and detonated with another force to register on the Richter Magnitude Scale.

Good job, yabbadabbadoostein, you owe me a new computer and my neighborhood an apology!

I simply refuse to believe that any of you who claim that this was an easy puzzle truly solved it the first time.  I mean, I suppose it's POSSIBLE, but you'd have to be a 2500+ rated player and have the ability to see a full ONE move ahead.

Also, I think it's worth noting that some people have strong chess skills, but absolutely NO sense of humor.

Hard my foot. Just try all the pieces on the board and see what happens.

Alternatively, sac everything off to promote the b pawn. queen and king v king is a sure winTongue out

The Knight covers f8 and h8, and the Rook covers f7, g7 and h7. So a simple Bishop check wins. So it is quite easy
