Yeah, it's weird. The white text goes away after CTRL+R. And I see the comment too, which can give clues to the solution.

That's true. I know how C++ does weird stuff, so I doubt html is different. Have a cup of java and everything works out.

and oh re the blindfold typing - i've to highlight to see what ive typed - happens to me all the time, in all browsers...

Well at any rate it happens often :)
