after 28...Rxa2 if 29.Kxa2 then 29...Qa8+ 30.Kb1 Qa3 etc.

Doesn't 29. ...Qa8 work just the same? White gets a check on b5 regardless of move 30 or 32. The only difference I see is that after 29. ...Qa8, white can check on d5 and sacrifice their queen, but then after Qa5 it's over anyway.
