Why is Ra2 not mate?
I'm afraid I don't understand this puzzle.
Bb2 covering the king.
There's a bishop on g7
How about...
1. Rb1+,Kc2 2. Bc1+
1. Rb1+,Kc2 2. Bc1++
Kd2 not Kc2
Why doesn't Kxe1 lead to mate?
Nevermind. Bc3+ ruins it.
I looked at the answer because i felt i exhausted all the possible options, but i still don't get the answer. If Bxb2, i don't see the final move.
Oh duh. I see it now. Toughy.
Sorry about that post. First timer.
1. Rb1+, Kd22. Bc1+, Kc33. Qc4++
I still don't see the mate in 2...
1. Bb8, BxR2. ?
if Kxc2, then Qa3 checkmate!
