I found a mate in 3 in the first post. Re3+ and it will be mate in 3.

1. Re3+, Kd3 2. Rf4+, Re4 3. Rf4xRe4#

wow.... just realised the error in my checkmate.

Hey Asorski, that is a nice idea, but if you put a White Knight on g4, it gives Black another move, instead of using their rooks.

Have you seen this ? 

 That's about the best I could come up with, but it loses the nature of the idea.

This is the only way I can think of to fix it(though it might be slightly off the idea). Mate in 2:

The key move is 1.Rc4.

1.Rd6+ looks like a key move 

I guess I forgot to put a black pawn on c7. I've fixed it now.
