how did you end up without the f pawn?  being able to play exf6+ and not having to deal with Kxf6 is huge.

I played the fantasy variation of the caro kann. 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. dxe4 fxe4.

I'd say that attack was definitely out of somewhere. 

That was a straight killer after a nice sac.

I'll Sac the bishop! Then i'll bring my knight in! Then my pawn does en passant and my queen starts flying all over the board!
