Why the extra moves? Black could have just claimed the draw at 38...Nf2+ if he wanted to.

Interesting, an average player might take the knight and lose.

 black plays for a draw because otherwise he will loose ...

he is behind in material ( no queen ) and when he does not check the King , white will have time to start a mating attack ... 

PS you had no answer because " does any one of you want to know why black playing a draw game? " is not the same as " does any one of you knows ( can tell me ) why black is playing for a draw ? "
