Anastasia's mate. Good one.
i would be delighted if someone would discuss this
why not try my chesspuzzle2 mate in3
knightstrike
1. Ng6+, Kg8
2. Qf8, Rxf8
3. Ne7+, Kh8
4. Rxh7+, Kxh7
5. Rh4, Rh6
You should change the location of the rook on a3.

Black must have something against women...

mate in two...or four...or something, maybe. I guess. Whatever
It's the southern California approach to composition.
I like the queen sacrifice
Knightstrike your solution is correct
The real puzzle is how the Q got in the corner!

I saw the double check and smothered mate pattern but the anastasia's mate fails due to the rook on a6 (as mentioned). So I guess I just wasted my time :P.
Fastest forced mate is in 9 (credit goes to some random bad engine :p). F.e. 1.Ng6+ Kg8 2. Qe7 fxg6 3. Qxd8+ Kf7 4. Rxh7 Bxg4 5. Qh8 Ke6 6. Qxg7 Nd7 7. Qxd7+ Kf6 8. Qe7 Kf5 9. Qe5#
Also the placement of the white rooks and black queen is a bit silly in this position imo.
thanks jwestlake for spotting rook on a6, a valid point
