Chessgasmatic!

I played a game against e4pawn (http://www.chess.com/livechess/game.html?id=2418906), and made a move that Caïssa, chess goddess, would have been proud of! The move was brilliant, my continuation could have been better... I lost the game, but BEHOLD:

(Move analysis below puzzle)

Edit: Haha! If you can't find the error, challange me to a chessgame! :D

After 4.Qf4+?? why not 4....Kxf4! (FREE QUEEN) when White wins instead.

Hahaha! I went over this line hundreds of times! Sometimes "blind" isn't a word explicit enough to explain my explicit chess basics deficiency!

Yeah... You see.. I thought I could do the 4...Qf4+ without being taken myself.. So I thought I could force mate.. But.. ehe.. Well.. The king simply takes the queen.. so. ehe.. wel.. I was blind.
