Puzzle comes from a real game, computer analysis used to finish. Real game continuation was d7 Rf8 Qxf8#. Mate in 8 (last move omitted due to multiple solutions) Difficulty: HARD. Multiple solutions start after white's 6th move, so puzzle should end there.

That's an impossible board, unless your pawns get to the last rank.

A game I played and thought I would share.

??? Qa4 b5 or Qa5 Qd7 or Qa5 Bc6

A few puzzles that come from games I've played.

First: Easy, find the best move.
Second: Medium, find the best sequence of moves.
Third: Hard, mate in five moves.

Very good lesson. The middle used one move too many, I think
