On of the most difficult puzzles i have ever solved!
a quite hard...but i solveit in 45 secs
no it's a draw by perpetual check. doesn't the title of this forum tip you off at all?
Why does black not promote on his first move, the queen isn't threatening checkmate when black has the rook on g6.
Because if black promotes then white takes the rook (Rxg6+), then it will be mate shortly after.
