lol...well, I guess we can say that White is pretty much forced to find the winning move!
Easy Chess Problem - Number 1

Yup, true! :)
I'm also honoured your 1st post was on my thread :)
And yeah, welcome to chess.com! :)
MSC157, in your original diagram (#1) above castling isn't possible - the FEN string for the diagram tells you so & the solution is a draw & not a win as you show later on !
This may seem a small detail but it's an important one.
{ If you want to see what I mean, copy & paste the FEN string from the ist. diagram into Game Editor & then try to castle - it doesn't allow it ! }

I totally understand what you mean, I did it on purpose to prevent engine users solving it! :) I did the same with the 2nd problem. Sorry.
That explains it ! Yes, I've just posted a similar comment on your other puzzle with the e.p.
Didn't know that was one way to frustrate 'cheating' using engines but it certainly stopped me solving it !
Maybe you should just take a snapshot of your diagram instead & post it as a graphic so there's no FEN/PGN data attached ?

Hello! This is my first chess problem. I'm not a composer, so it's not too difficult, but I still hope it's at least original. ;) Put your solutions into the comment below.
Good luck!
