This is a well-known position. Some other interesting lines:

 

   1...Ke7 loses to the pawn breakthrough 2.c6!

   1...Kc8, 1...Kd8, and 1...Ke8 lose because White seizes the direct opposition. 

   1.Kd4 Kc6 2.Kc4 Kd7 3.Kd5 is an alternate solution.

In this final position, White still must be careful. If Kc7 or Kc8, it's stalemate. The winning idea is c6! bxc6 Kc7.

This is the triangulation example on Wikipedia. A classic. It's a good bit of information to know in seemingly drawn endgames. Smile
