of course qe5 is the error..that's what allows me to play my combo....however i'm curious to how e2 wins? does'nt my bishop just takes the pawn? feel free to send me the stream of analysis tha fritz comes up with!!Cool

White's best replies to 2...e2 and their refutations:

    3. Bxe2 Nf4 with a double attack at e2 and d6

    or

    3. Rxf6 e1=Q+ 4. Kh2 Rxf6 and the bishop is immune since 5. Nxb7?? Qe5! followed by ...Rh6+ wins the g3-rook.
