Who, or what, is Death Note? And this looks very much like a Sal Loyd problem. The classic Sam Loyd is place a king in the middle of the board (any center square will do, e.g. e4) and then construct a mate using only 2 rooks and a knight.

Beautiful game. I love Alekhine but it's been years since I studied his games. Thanks posting this one.
