I know I'm a patzer, but to me, this doesnt make any sense. Black plays 2...fxg6. and now white down a queen, right?

Does anyone know why I name the puzzle forethoughtful vs shrewd-brained?

Also, if 2...h6 (Black's best shot as it takes an extra move) then

    3 Rxh6+ BxRh6

4 QXBh6# and I suppose black could stall an extra move with 2....Qd3 3 RxQ nut it is basically all straight forward.

nice one.  I think you named it perfectly.  One kind of mind would lose, the other win.

i don't know. but i think the white sacrificing the queen so the name is forethoughtful and i don't know the black one. anyways, that's a good puzzle!

These adjectives mean having or showing keen awareness, sound judgment, and often resourcefulness, especially in practical matters.
