Well, I got it wrong in a fairly stupid way heh.
So Reti (and the author) missed it huh. Considering they're all forcing moves that's a pretty big miss for such a good player.

At first I couldn´t see how to stop the K escaping via e7, but if instead of 2... Rxe6 2... Kf8, then 3.Nh7# is a beautiful mate.

white CLEARLY dominates w/a few choices leading2a guaranteed checkmate!
This position didn't actually occur in the game, but it could've. Golombek says in his notes that here "a mate by White is not to be seen." So...what do you guys think?
