Hm... just Qf7 would have won as well and faster, but okay
What about Black plays Ng8 in that position?
2.Qg6 Nf6 3.Rxf6 with mate shortly- it's pretty much a matter of taste, but 1.Qf7 is not faster.
Yeah, after Rf8 +, the Black also has Ng8, which would postpone mate by a few moves.
No there is a difference. In that position, there is Qxg8 mate
good rook sacrifice for the win !! nice puzzle yet easy for me
