Solution Haring 3 (First price Schwedish Chess Problem Association 1959 ): Key:Re7! (threaten : 2) Qd2 mate )
if 1)......Knight b5 then 2) Rc5 mate
if 1)......Knight c6 then 2) Bc4 mate
if 1)......Knight f5 then 2)Qe5 mate
if 1)......Knight e6 then 2)Rd7 mate
After all the moves with the black Rooks follows mate on c5, e5 or g2 !
Temptations: 1) Re1 Knight e6
1) Bh3 Rook f5
A remarqueble theme demand to compose this problem for Mr. Haring was that all the white pieces has to been placed on the lower half of the board, and all the black on the upper half !!! In the futur you'll get more of this strange demands !
Qc7+ wherever he goes, queen goes to checkmate him, or if King takes the knight the rook checkmates him.
Takes pawn, Qg7#
Takes bishop, Qd6#
Takes Knight, Rxg5#
I think thats about it.
