Sorry to say, but your plan doesn't works. Black can play g6; but even he/she follow your way, he/she can play 3-Be3 after 3.Ref1.

i try to calculate the best reply from black..

2. Qxf7+  Kh8

3. Rxe7    Qg4

4. Re8+    Rxe8

5. Qxe8+  Kh7

6. Bg8+    Kh8

7. Bf7+     Kh7

8. Qg8#         ( white needs 8 moves.. )

black can avoid this mate in early move but he will lose material...

Black don't have to take on e7. Better reply are g6, but still Re7 are a great move. Maybe the best one, but white can win with other moves as well

1. Bxf7+ Qxf7

2. Re8+  Qf8

3. Rxf8+ Rxf8

is the best I can see but it's not immediately finishing the game.

Nice! 1Bxf7+ Qxf7 2Re8+ Rxe8 3Rxe8 Qf8 4Rxf8+ (this motif is X-ray attack).
1Re7 line (this motif is line interruption).
But it's still more moves that can make progress for white and maybe win the game.

i think that 1. Re7 was the best..

when 1. Re7  g6   2. Qf3  this also result the same.. and maybe 2 ... g6 open the line and make black's defense more weak..

if 1. Bxf7  Kh7  black still on the game..
