nice. i got it. but if i may suggest.... tell the potential solvers that the board is flipped from white on bottom. that may make it more obvious. NICE EN PASSANT MOVE!!!

if you dont get the puzzle and dont get the en passant check the rules under en passant, it will all become clear!

With the coordinates on the board it's not really necessary to say which way the colors are going.

yes, but it does make it a bit more clear, plus i know i rarley look at the cordinates, but thanks for your opion, i kind of agree, but ill leave it that way for now

is that how en passant actually works?  you can make the dbl pawn opening move but then the attacking pawn can undercut behind it?  i've never seen it actually done.  I've played games where the computer won't allow the move because of en passant.  But never knew you could still make the move as a sacrifice type move... thought of it always more so as an inadvertant pin...

En passant is when your opponent tries to save his/her pawn by going past your pawn. In that instints, you can then take his/her pawn by doing en passant. Ex:
