A simpler puzzle the title might be a bit misleading.

So the aim of the puzzle is to get checkmated.  An interesting deviation from the standard puzzle setup.

What an awful puzzle -- why are we playing black?  I have to say I was a little disgusted to finally click solution (after not finding the freeing combination) only to see the losing Qxf8.

Well last move should have been Qc8 or Kc8. Another possibility is Nc6 which isn't losing so quickly. Yet the puzzle are horrible, I'm sorry

This is stupid beyond belief.

edit: I realize that my comment may offend someone. I don't care. I'm attacking the puzzle, not the person.

Indeed, when you press restart, you play as white. Then you win :)
