7.Nc3 looks right.  I had one opponent who tried 7.Bd2 against me. 7.Bd2 Bxd2 8.Nbxd2 Nge7 9.g3 Nf5 10.Bg2 Nfxd4 11.Nxd4 Nxd4 12.Nf3 Qa5 13.Qd2 Nc2 14.Kd1 Qxd2 15.Nxd2 Nxa1  Thunder-Wall, Internet 2004

 

Castling into the attack with 13...O-O doesn't look good.  Since White threatens f5, perhaps 13...g616...Na5? seems to be the losing move after 17.Qg4.  Black should try 16...Qb6 and if 17.Qg4, then 17...Nxe5 18.Qg3 Nc4 and Black should be OK.

Nice attack,

I love playing in French like positions as White because it seems easy to generate an attack as Black does nothing. You have to be well booked as Black to avoid those kind of positions
