Another puzzle composed by me. It's probably easier than the last one. White to move, mate in 4.

Sorry, I post just the diagram to force people to actually solve the puzzle. It gives me some amount of satisfaction knowing that people actually have to work to find the solution, the way I had to work to create the puzzle for them.

Nice puzzle! Is bishop at h4 really needed?

    I like it.

Took me a few minutes to realize that black's third move is forced, not because of an imminent threat but because it's the only legal move on the board!

Oh, I forgot to say that you may post the solution if you'd like.

@prokofyev: No, I suppose it isn't. I think what happened is that I needed it in one of the incomplete versions of the puzzle and simply forgot to take it off for the final version.

    Fairly easy.  1. Rxc7+!, Nxc7 - 2. Ba6+, Rb7 - 3. Nxf5, Rab8 - 4. Nd6#.

Perfect! It amazes me how good some puzzles by real composers are. Maybe I just need to spend more time, or maybe I lack their genious. I can't seem to make a puzzle that really stumps people.

I've made a few decent puzzles.  Maybe I should take it up as a hobby.
