White queen is DANGEROUS in every move of the puzzle it killed a piece!!! Good thing I'm not on there! (LOL)

"Mate in 4" should mean that it is a forced mate (in 4 moves at most), no matter what Black plays.  As drmr suggests, 2... d6 prevents this.  It is a cute mate in two anyway (at the end).
