This is still a winning position for white, but it delays checkmate for quite a bit longer.
mm yeh i suppose so, but thats why its not forced =D most people would take the queen anyway. well maybe not, but its a "trap" =). and it works, like you say, gives white a winning position. Thanks for the tip.
2.Qg7 is aesthetically pleasing, but I think 2.Qe7, threatening both 3.Qh4# and 3.Qg5#, is stronger.
2. ... Qf6 only delays the inevitable.
