Incorrect solution, it should be 1. Qd7+ Bxd7 2. Nd6#. After 2. Nf6+? Black can escape via 2. ... Kf7 and there is no mate, Black wins.
After 2...Kf7, Black has the upper hand.
I would have suggested (as you wrote);
1.Qd7+ Bxd7
2.Nf6+ Kd8
and then 3.Re8#

It's just a bad version of Pollock's mate (see edited message above).
Thats right, Nd6 is better. The answer is correct, nothing wrong with it?
Except it isn't mate on the second move, the king can move to d8, as is shown in his solution.
Not in susu's position with the Bishop on g5.

kerver thats only if he goes Kd8, but he can escape to Kf7.
