Here is a mate in 5. It is a known way of forcing a mate which has been posted before but with other start positions; I have just created a position where all pieces are on the board just for the fun of it. If you haven't seen this particular mate picture before you might find the puzzle challenging. Advanced players will probably find it easy though.

I'm a beginner, so I find it very hard. My rating used to be 983 on here but is now 700 something. :(

This i believe is called a choke mate. On a few occasions I've seen b. fischer do this w/ 10+ move combinations, sac his queen, and surprise the hell out of his opponent. This opportunity comes up very frequently actually and ive been able to use it against opponents myself on a few lucky occasions.

Very fun! As mentioned above, after the first move it was fairly easy (and I'm no ace). Its good to see something I can handle, and enjoy the logic of ;) Thank you.

it is a variation of the smothered mate. nicely done. im getting used to seeing that position.
