I was almost in this exact same situation, tho the player I as up against didnt fall for it :(

yeah, I was in the exact same situation as well, I fell for it. lol

There's nothing to "fall for". All white's moves are forced.

I was thinking that black should trade queens and pick up a rook in the bargain. You were thinking bigger things. Delightful combination!
