    Another option but not so fancy would be 1.Qf1+ 2. Be1 3. Qe1#  This would probably end up as 1. Qf1 2. White Resigns.

    This CM is neat but I can't imagine that this exact starting position ever happens in a real game.  White just moved and still has a two rooks and a bishop in danger of being captured.  If this was from an actual game it would be interesting to see the moves leading to this position.

    sorry the puzzle has two answers i never noticed that the queen could take the rook.

     Your solution was more intersting anyway.  I hope to use it some time but it may be difficult because the black night would be in danger in most cases.

    Qf1 for me was basic and obvious.  I can't say that I would have ever imagined coming up with the idea to move Qb1 on this board.
