Yes, it's known as Legal's trap. It has nothing to do about legality however. T name stems from the 18th century player de Legal, who is presumed the first to have played it.

Just be careful when getting this chance yourselves, if black has played Nc6 (instead of a6 as here) black wins by Nxe5 - defending the bishop!
