One Bad Move Can Lose the Game...Puzzle.

    This is another puzzle from a game of mine at the scholastic state Tournament. I play white here. Here black has just blundered by moving f6-f5. Can you spot the right move? The entire sequence lasts around (edit 12), but find the first few and you will get the rest. And for the record, I actually strayed from the sequence when I got excited at the win of material.

    Nice! My only problem with it is... Why waste time with that Knight, doesn't your Queen end up taking that anyways?

    I believe 3. Qh5+ ends in checkmate.  3... Ng6 4. Qxg6+ Ke7 5. Qf7#  Or 3... g6 4. Nf3 Kf8 6. Qxh8+ Ng8 7. Qxg8 Ke7 8. Qf7#

    I would also have played 3. Qh5+ even if I made som mistakes I really enjoyed solving it
