Snedzy... if black plays 1 ... Qf3 then it is STALEMATE. The king cant move anywhere.

Good point. It doesn't have to be stalemate after the second move either. Instead of taking the queen the king can just walk away with 2. ... Ke6. So it's not really a forced stalemate. Probably, the best white can do is to take the rook, 1. Qxc3. After that it's queen vs queen and it should be a draw.

Absolutely, Snedzy, the second puzzle is a win for black. 1...Qf3 is the easiest way to win, and even 1...Ke5 wins for black.

 

Good first puzzle Yusong, but the second one needs a lot of work.
