Great puzzle rooksacrifice! You picked my all time favotite!

Nice analysis - really ??   That's the most passive defense of a threatened position by Black I've ever seen (#33). Surely, Black's priority must be to castle the king, so after 1.O-O-O, 1...Be7 is the logical move - capturing the knight is just a mistake. 

When you have one open file reaching down to the side of your exposed king, you don't open another one ! There are too many moves where Black is shown as making the worst choices.

And anyway, part12 states that the solution to this puzzle is in 6 moves or less !

I'm amazed - who was his opponent ? I feel sure Black could have defended against that attack.

Also, you did state that it was mate in 6 moves not 7 as Frankwho shows !

how can winning two rooks as bc5 creates mate be anything but a mistake

....if be7,re1,o-o....there's still for black
