My diagram box isn't working right now, but I'll post a reply when it does.  There's a way to stop this, but I think White has a different forced sequence... I'll show you later.

i think theres a flaw in your puzzle....

1. Qc3... Bd7

2. Qc7+..Ke8

3.Qc# Black's Bishop is on pin, thus it cannot capture the queen on c8+#

Bd7+ is not a mate because Knight can still capture it ...nxBd7

Qc8+... RxQc8 yours is about 5 moves to mate.

Rxc8#  Don't take the hard way in playing chess, why give chance for opponent to recover... simplify.

Try to make combinations without conflict.

Black can also reply ...Kc6 which can buy time preventing mate, and with a wrong attack would lead to completely repelling the possibility of mate at all

in the first one Bxd7 isnt mate black could kill the bishop
