When someone solves my puzzle s/he posts a puzzle for others to solve and it goes on and on. If the puzzle is not solved then the puzzle maker tells us the answer and the person with the closest answer gets to post a puzzle! Here is the puzzle we will start with. Please make thhe puzzles a diagram and if you want to tell the answer just post an comment. White mates in 3.

Sorry, the 1st puzzle has no mate in 3 after 1 Ne6 Ne8

Is the first puzzle really a mate in 3? What if the knight moves to Nh5 to protect g7? That was what I had problems with that and getting a mate in 6 with the rook taking the bishop/queen capturing both pawn and knight and mate on g7.

Yeah, that stops it too, so black has at least 2 defenses against #3

If black moves its knight to h5 then whites queen will just take it for free!

Yeah, but the stipulation is mate in 3, that does not work anymore.
