hi. i probably blundered in this game. but i couldn't help myself to sacrifice my queen here. Luckily for me, my oponent made the move i was hoping. But now i'm wondering, if he had made another move, would i still have won this game?

    Maybe Bxe6?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm not liking Bxe6+ right after.

I like that. If your oponent would have been less greedy he could maybe have managed a draw. But it's hard to keep yourself from taking a "free" queen, especially in blitz games.

I could've lost the game if he had not taken my queen bait.

I've taken this chance a few times myself.  (Or a similar situation, anyways)

I think you have to take into account the rating of the player you're up against, your position, the possibilities of what will happen if your opponent makes a different move, etc...

Here, it looks to me like you've made a smart move.  If your opponent doesn't take the bait, you still stand a chance of having some positive material gain over the next few moves.

But what do I know?  I'm just learning myself!  Laughing
