Man. Every time I click a thread and somebody is taking abuse from a higher rated player, there you are. Shouldn't an IM show both a little more class and some understanding towards lower ranked players? You could simply ignore any question you deem not worth answering, seeing as it wasn't directed right at you. Instead, you belittle both the queryer and every responder. You might play great chess, but you're a little bit despicable.

I think the most annoying to play against with 1.d4 is the budapest gambit.

+1. Someone sees the light. As for me, I hate the Budapest gambit and the Grunfeld Defense. They are rich in theory that i dont know and are very, very confusing.

This is the only line that i know. It is one of the main lines and seems pretty sound. White has a good pawn center.

    also i hate kings indian

Also, i hate KID. I overextend my pawns and get destroyed. Usually, I play f3 after d6. I hate that ...f5 break, though. Gives me the impression that Blacks pieces are energized.

I always play four-pawns attack for white. Quite tactical and mostly winning if black doesn't know it well:

Conehead, just stick to your Grunfeld. Nothing wrong with it :-)

I bet you will get me next time. If not, then the game after that and you have a lot of years to get better. Grunfeld requires book knowledge...

Hello everybody. I have a question, but only for all d4 players:

What is the opening you don't like to play against if you played d4.

    I was just wondering ...

    Thank you all

Repeated posts like this in the forums.

Assume you are asking what ''defence'' do you dislike meeting from black subsequent to opening the game with 1.d4?

If that is correct then likely there are numerous topics/threads on this already if you search the forums.

Those posts are just people asking to learn a good reponse to d4. This post is asking to d4 player what they don't like. It doesn't have to be a good response for black.

By the way, I hate to play against Budapest because it avoids all tactics etc.

I guess the plans is quite simple. Look at the line coneheadzombie gave in post #24. White tries to get a strong centre while black is trying to attack it (expecially the d4 pawn). I have gone wrong quite often with white and got my centre crushed and get a worse position. I don't know much more about it though.
