Yep, simple... pretty hard to lose with that much material advantage, any way you do it.
Took me a moment because of the promotion with check:
[1. Bc3 c1=Q (or Kf8) 2. Rh8#]
The threat of check from black is actually what makes this so simple (combined with knowing it's mate in 2). Since we know we can't allow the check, we either have to play check ourselves, move the king, or interfere with the upcoming check. So there's not much to look at.
Or blockade the pawn.... I agree, as the threat of check by black, lengthening the line past mate in two, is certainly what steered me in the right direction.
