    I thought it was 1.  Qxg4+ Kg2 2. Qe2# or 1. Qxg4+ Kxg4 2.  Be2+ f3  3. R1h4#

    lol.. there are many mays to mate.. but this one was special.. it's really weird. otherwise endgames generally do not contain castles..

    If illegal moves are allowed, then Qe2 is also mate. If not then O-O is the only answer.
