why have so many top TT players now have such high TT ratings? Not long ago I was on page 1 or 2 with a certain rating and now I am on page 5 or 6 with the same rating!
Have the players become better or have the problems become easier for their rating range? Was there some rating inflation?
(Have everyone improved and I not :-) but on the other hand, I am now more often above a ceratin rating than ever before and I dont think it is because I have improved?)

It seems there are more strong players working on TT now, My own rating still goes up and down from 2200-2600 depending on luck and how sharp I feel, it's noticeable that you see a lot more titled players in the top pages. I do notice that the guy who was 4000 has disappeared :-)
I ahve to say that I still get some problems that are rated 2400 that seem quite trivial as compared to others.

I have started playing on TT myself about a mth ago after long time of not. And my rating is at it's best (2635) finally after playing so many puzzles a day i lost count hahaha. So yes i think more higher level players are seeing the usefulness of the tactics trainer.
P.S. It is slowly sinking in my head well enough to play better chess hahaha.

As a non-paying member I only get 3 puzzles every 24 hours, which I complete most days. I was surprised how quickly my TT rating rose to 2400+ with some fairly simple puzzles thrown at me, especially as I see 40% of them in a flash, with very little calculation required. I realise that TT ratings are not comparable to any other sort of rating and so the actual number doesn't really matter, but perhaps they are all a little overrated for difficulty.
so maybe there is now just more players? but it was really just in the past two months or so that so many players then joined. today there are 13212 players so lets see within a month or so.... I dont know whether there is really stats about TT players vs time here on chess.com?
I dont know, some probs with high ratings is still very easy - havnt the probs become easier? My last prob was 2500 which was just two moves mate.
I know you cant compare it but I can do very few problems around 2200 in CT-Art. They are usually so complicated and you need to combine several tactical themes.
